Common questions

My progress disappeared.

All saves are stored locally on the device. Reinstalling the App or clearing the device's storage wipes the save. Cloud save is on the roadmap. Until then, keep the App installed to keep your progress.

I reset by mistake.

Unfortunately the "Reset save" action in Settings is permanent and there is no undo. Back up nothing — start fresh, let him cook again.

How do I advance / ascend?

Tap the "Advance" badge at the top of the Tap screen. Once your lifetime earnings hit the requirement, the button goes yellow — you can ascend for a permanent ×5 production buff and unlock new tier-locked characters.

Offline earnings stopped working.

Offline rate is 50% of your active per-second production, capped at 8 hours. Upgrades "Offline Efficiency" and "Offline Endurance" raise the rate and cap. The Advance-4 upgrade "Unbound Offline" removes the rate penalty entirely.

Ads not working / not serving.

Ads are not yet enabled in the current build. Once they roll out, you can decline personalized tracking on iOS without losing rewarded ad access — AdMob will serve non-personalized ads instead.

How do I opt out of personalized ads later?

Open Settings → Ad preferences inside the App to re-show the consent form. Or reset your advertising identifier in your device's system settings (iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Privacy → Ads).
